hey guys! please listen to me & i know a lot of you are going to say this is fake but its true on 2-13-12 I am going to be one of the tester on the new sly game!!!! So if you respond to this comment and not call me fake i will give some hints on the new game but only a few (it would be mean to spoil the new stuff at once for them) so please respond.

how do we know that you're a real tester? do you have any proof that you can show us and wouldn't you be in real trouble with sanzaru and sony for giving info? and one thing that seems weird is the fact that you said that japan was the first level. Long time no theft Thomas here and I’ve come up with a way to make sly even better so it starts by redoing all the games from scratch the first three games would have all the same villains and story for the most part but seeing as how all the main fan base if in their 20s were gonna change sly to a weed smoking laid back kind of guy but serious about stealing and Murray is a cocain addict but at the end of sly 3 sly and Carmelita get married and the 4th game starts with their honeymoon going back in time and meeting all the ancestors I. The copper vault giving you ten bosses and each time you beat clockwork as the ancestor from that time period leading up to a final battle where clockwork steals the time machine and you have to use all the ancestors and sly to beat him then sly 5 would be thieves I. Training this is set 15 years later after sly 4 and sly has twins and is training them then sly 6 is king of coopers where there are so many coopers that they stopped stealing from criminals and started stealing from each other and they’re all arguing over who the best cooper is and a young their says it’s sly he’s the only one to ever earn the book then they go back kidnap sly and bring him to the reallly far future where they have a yearly tournament to see who the best their is that year after you beat the game you would unlock online mode which would be sweet because it could be a capture the flag game and people could be able to create their own maps I think that’s what the series really needs is an entire reboot from scratch

Addressing recent blog bugs: Some comments made are sometimes not posted immediatly. I have been trying to fix this problem, but apparently when you post your comment and you have the option to enter a website URL, if you enter one that Weebly thinks is spam, it will make me have to approve the comment. I personaly dont care what web URL you enter. If you dont mind your comment not posting immediatly, then its fine to enter any URL you want. I am still trying to fix this though...

What are you expecting to see from sly 4 I'm hoping that they will have some epic cinematic seqences like in uncharted 2 and I really hope carmalita is back and hopefully she will be working with the gang I'm really anxious to see how sly played off the amnesia and what he and carmalita have been doing this whole time

Im not sure what I'm expecting from Sly 4. I'm worried that it might not be as good as the first 3 games, concidering Sanzaru is making it instead of Sucker Punch. It is Sly though, so it will still definitley be epic. Like Tabreez mentioned, I hope they bring back the picture taking with the binocucom feature from Sly 2. The uncharted 2 cinimatic style sceens would definitley be cool, and playing as Carmelita was fun cuzza her shock pistol.

Oh being able to take pics with the binocucom will definatly be back cause as I watched the pax video gameplay I saw when sly used his binocucom there were 4 icons at the top that were picture video and something else I could not tell but being able to record videos will be awesome and I think they said Sumer punch was helping them here and there I hope that was true

yes it will I've seen the trial honor among thieves will be battaling for the to spot.do you know how the 3rd connets to the 4th one? If you don't I'll tell you,in the ending episode of sly 3 they find slys staff it was warth milleins. And later in that Episode bently was saying I wander how sly ansesters lerned the sacered moves Im biulding a time machine to find out. Well I'm logging off to play sly 3.

That would be awesome if he met his dad! But witout affecting Murray and Bentely...GASP your right! He might no meet Carmelita either! He might not have even been a thief...or be in jail cuz Bentely (mostly) and Murray have both saved Sly...Time travel is confuzzling...this reminds me of the movie Back to the Future lol

Hey guys sorry for the delay but today was great. they made the Egyptian episode with perfection. the villain was bad ass! his back story was smart and i will tell you if another person says yes today. what i will tell you is this that the producers said each of the ancestors personality's will like rioihci is smart and treats sly like a true friend, Slytankhamen II is more of a loner and just want to get the job done with no problems, now the producers said that tennessee 'kid' cooper will be a dare devel and be more laid back like sly. Thaddeus Winslow Cooper will be of cource a gentlemen but actually remind sly of his dad. and they said if they choose to have him that otto van cooper will be very into himself and treat sly like a child. that all i know so remember to say yes one more time for the story. and please tell if giving to much away (please tell me). bye

OK I have to tell you guys the back story so here it is. first the villain is called khan the pharaoh who jackle which he looks so cool, anyways he was a poor gypsy boy who lived in a small kingdom at the bottom of the Nile. living ether in jail or in a horrible little house he became filled with anger and vengeance! Using the magic tricks and hypnosis his parents taught him and a few of tricks of his own. he used to take over the kingdom. using some tricks and costumes he made the entire kingdom believe he was a god threatened to destroy them unless he took power as the pharaoh. and worst yet he became cold heart and cruel , treating his own kind the same way he was treated. so now sly and the gang are here to take him down as well in episode 2: the fall of the pharaoh. hope you like it just as much as i did and tomorrow I will be testing episode 3 in the west. so giddy up outlaws ye haw!

WOW thanks 4all that info I didn't read alot about the story because I get super excited about the sly Cooper story so I was like agh T. M. I. ( too much info ) but that's very cool about the ancestors various personalities and to answer your question if u were giving too much info I would recommend not so much about the story and more in game play. To keep the story for when we play it interesting I'm a little disappointed that the first level is not in Paris/france like S.P. Did in all games and when u said u worked on portal 2 that did not. Really give me much info on how you BECAME a game tester . Like did u go to college for that or something because I read on a website that being a game tester heightens ur chances of becoming a video game creator which is what I want my profession to be. Please and thank you

Hey guys. I was messing around with weebly and found an actual member system thats way better that my current version...only problem is..everyone with a membership right now would have to re-become a member, and you either need a weebly, facebook, or twitter account to do it...but youll be able to upload profile pictures dirctly to your profile, post comments, and log into your profile. It would be way better, but I know some people dont have weebly, facebook, or twitter accounts, and that some people might not even bother with this. Please tell me what you guys think. Thanks!

@jeff How do we know that you are the real deal? Have you got any proof that you working with Sanzaru? I'm not trying to be mean or anything, it's just that we're not sure that the info is genuine. Sorry but I doubt people who don't support evidence when they say they're game testers that usually turn out to be fakes.

The guys at Sucker Punch are true geniuses and they could definitly pull off a Sly 5. They have created two great franchises, Sly Cooper and inFAMOUS. I give a lot of credit to Sanzaru for saving Sly Cooper and making a fourth game. However, as to Sucker Punch making another Sly game, I think that will never happen. On their forums they said that they are not abandoning the franchise, but I doubt they'll make another. A Sly 5 probably won't be made at all. If by some chance it is though, Sanzaru will most likely be the ones to make it, but

oh and to answer you guys question some of my favorite games are sly cooper franchise, uncharted franchise,batman arkham city,infamous,skate 2,and 3, super street fighter 4, little big planet 2, and ASSASSINS CREED franchise and for ps2 some of them would be BULLY sly cooper 1,2,and 3 jak 1,2,and 3 and some ratchet and clank games oh and the older spider-man games y'know before they messed them up by putting too many freakish alien creatures and saving the world and all that crap spidey games are supposed to be him swinging around the city of new york beating up thugs and saving citizens

my favorite sly cooper game is sly 3 but i do agree with jeff on the sly 2 part and the canada episodes i really liked the levels with snow i guess i like sly 3 more is beacause that was the first one i played and i really like the places they go to but i cant wait to see the new episodes in sly cooper thieves in time been waiting for 7 years hey anyone just looked at the background of fuedal japan in those pics and just look how big and good everything looks so excited for this. I usually wait about 2 or 3 weeks to buy new games after they release but when this comes out in stores im going to buy it the first day

Well, to be honest not a lot since I can't really have a real members system. What you do get is a profile with a comment and a profile picture that you chose, and if you give a valid e-mail address (most don't) then you can get newsletters emailed to you about what's happening on the site, Sly 4, and Sly Cooper in general. The news letter thing is pretty much just the regular news on the news page, only via email.

I just played the last few missions of Sly 3 on the Sly Collection, and now I really can't wait for Sly 4! The ending video of Sly 3 is so depressing, and back when I first beat it years ago I thought it would be the end of the Cooper legacy, but now I know otherwise! Sly 4 will be epic, and I hope it's not the last of Sly!

Sorry, no official released dates. But, Amazon says October and GameStop says December. They are both constantly changing the date though, so I doubt that it's accurate. Also, if you've read Jeff's earlier comments, the game is still in testing, so It'll probably be a while until we see Sly 4

just watched the video awesome i just hate that they didnt keep the original concept of the ancestors but who is the ancestor with the feather on his hat looks like a raccoon version of robin hood btw r any of u glad they got a new company to draw the cutscenes because im not that was one of my favorite things about the sly games and does anyone know why the sir galleth cooper is a jester ? instead of like the big buff monster raccoon with the club cane ? anyways im just glad there making another game for us YEAAAAAAAAHHHH GO !! Ya, and it was Sleigh McCooper that had the club cane Sir Galleth Cooper had the sword cane. Although, I'm not really sure why they made him look like a jester when he's supposed to be a knight...anyway, I know I've said it a lot, but it's is really important, check out the newly released ancestor, Sir Galleth Cooper and the new Sly 4 screenshots and video on the videos and photos page if you haven't already. Hey guys, have you ever played the game Rocket Robot on Wheels? It was Sucker Punch Productions first game, it was made for the Nintendo 64. Some hackers copied the game files and uploaded them onto the internet, so I downloaded it, and with the help of a Nintendo 64 software emulator I've been playing the game on my computer. JoJo the raccoon's face/head/hat looks identical to Sly's, and some pink wallrus thing looks a lot like Murray. Anyway, if you want to play it, here is the download link:

at first i was really worried with sucker punch out and sanzaru making sly cooper thieves in time but now that ive been able too see more of what there doing the possibility of them making the game feel more like our precious sly cooper games is better than what i pictured the only thing i would ask them to change would be to center the music theme for diffrent levels around the sly cooper theme song like they were in sly 2 znd 3 and the other thing would be to change the art style back to sucker punches artists well guys .... keep me posted for any new news ill check back later

HOLY FREAKING CRAP i just watched the sir galleth and carmelita gameplay (a little late i know) this game feels just like a sucker punch production carmelitas gameplay looks soooo smooth with her shock pistol and everything glad they got rid of that old targeting system from sly 3 only, 1 question is carmelita cheating on sly with sir galleth ( she realizes that will never work out hes like 20x's her age ) i know glen said thier relashionship is complicated between sly and carmelita but still. yea but why would they need to hide that? anyway i was going to say while i was watching sly cooper L77's youtube video he was showing the new pics and he showed two fuedal japan guards both with a neon green tip and he asked whats going on wih that so i thought to my self ..... those toxic barrels all scattered around fuedal japan with green goo inside probably have something to do with it. it seems theve incorporated them into their weapons (just look at some of the fuedal japan pics with sly sneaking around you will see what im talking about. also there were alot of talk about owls and birds!?! owls as guards alot of birds flying around and something about an owl boss! something about a black velvet, black scarlet something? i cant remember. and the mechanical wolf looks menacing!! In addition to the new home page, I have also officially changed the name of the site! I have changed the name from Sly Cooper Fan Network to Sly Cooper Network. I made this change because it's shorter, sounds more professional, cuts confusion, and makes more sense in accordance with the website address

the shell gadget i thought it was the thiefnet laptop and that thaddeuss winslow cooper question thats kinda hard all i know about him is that he is the master of disguise y'know not all coopers have to be fighters and for the boss i was thinking some king of feral villan like a wolverine,coyote,tazmanian devil. or maybe something like a lion or ox, bull maybe ? idk there r some ideas though.

what r u guys expecting from sly 4 like lets say the ending, the gameplay, the story, the collectors edition, the ancestors secret abilities (rioichi's leaping dragon technique), the ancestors, sly's chemistry with the ancestors, sly & carmelita love life, sly's father, carmelita's backstory/childhood, being able to play in sly's past ( the orphanage and the "cookiee steelin plan" ), being able to play as the ancestors in their past/childhood, what the secret sly mask unlocks, will there be any bonus videos like "goodbye my sweet", AND ! will dimitri be playable cause' that will be "GREEASY SWEET" !! ( well there r some topics we can talk about seemed to be getting a little quiet. "LET'S DANCE" dum dum duh duh dum dum duh duuh dah.......

I think at the end of Sly 4, Sly will decide to stay with the gang for good and continue to be a thief (unlike at the end of Sly 3), I think Dimitri will be playable because he is such a fan favorite, the secret masks might unlock things like the bonus videos or bonus levels maybe?

I think it's good. Does anyone know how the idea for Sly having a cane as a weapon originaly came about? I read somewhwere that Sucker Punch didn't know what weapon to give him so they made a question mark as a place holder and someone said it looked like a cane, but I don't know if this is true.

Why? I was talking with Rioichi on the Playstation Network, and he brought up a good point. During the animated cutscenes in Sly 4, Sanzaru is using a new art style to draw characters and it makes them look ugly. It kinda looks like an 8 year old drew the characters in Sly 4, as opposed to the proffessional style of Sly 1-3. Those are just my thoughts though.

This may sound very weired but we all know that they have revealed 3 ancestors (Sir galleth, rioichi and salim) but i also believe that they will also show some stuff about Tennesee kid cooper and mac cooper. heres why because i was watching rioichi gameplay and i saw the screen with the missons and i think theres sort of a pattern. They have released gameplay of the minigame, turning japanese, holy grail robin, 40 thieves. And i think they have shown the Paris prolouge and Paris Epolouge. So i think thats a list of material they are going to reveal before the game comes out so be prepared for some salim, tennesee kid cooper and mac cooper pics and gameplay.I believe

I think that probably, if he's in Sly 4, Otto van Cooper won't have ground combat, especially because in the Cooper vault in Sly 3 Otto's cane was an airplane propeller. I think most of Otto's "world" would be sky, airplane oriented. As for Thadeous, I can't really think if a special move he'd have, he just seems sorta boring to me

sanzaru comes up with the concept of the costumes but anyway thier costumes are going to be relevant to which time period and setting thier from duh... (EXAMPLE) tennesse "kid" cooper will most likely be wearing a t-shirt w/ sleevless jean jacket on top, belt w/ big buckle, hoisters, brown cowhide boots w/ the rotating spike on the heel, his trademark bowler hat, a missing tooth, and his trademark dual weilding cooper cane pistols, *PANT* *PANT* *PANT* (DEEP BREATH) at least thats how i picture him.

I think that the pre-order skins are cool but I'm gonna wait to pre-order until I figure out if there will be a Sly 4 collectors edition. If there is a collectors edition I'm definitely getting it. That might just mean that you can download it on the playstation network, or that if you get Sly 4 for the Vita and PS3 you can save your game to the playstation netwrok and play on the save file on both devices. The Sly Cooper website says it's not multiplayer, but who knows if thats true because that site used to say it wasn't 3D compatible, but now it says it is

Guys im 90% sure that the only ancestors are going to be rioichi cooper, tennessee kid cooper, mac cooper, sir galleth cooper and salim al kupar because the sushi house start up menu showed there levels only and the pic with salim rubbing a gene lamp shows all of slys costumes so far exept sir galleths which is probally behind salim.

I read somewhere that the hubs were going to be co-op. so if you and a friend want to play togther you can. Also i think sly needs a new cane upgrade i read a few on some forums that would be pretty sweet like being able to thro it and us it as a spire landing . either way im just ready for it to be the 5th im also skipping school so i can stay home and play it all day :)

I am stuck in the bamboo forest in Sly Cooper 3.. I can't seem to control Sly, I always end up out of the arena.. I do the spiral jumps, but rarely RARELY land on a bamboo stick.. Is there something I am missing, or a trick to this??? HELP!!!!!!!

Thanks Tyler, You got that right, about not having much control over Sly in that battle, however, I didn't know I could change Sly's direction using the X button, I was using the analog stick and the arrows for changing direction. There's probably a lot of business reasons, including that there's a few other popular games that've came out recently and they probably don't want the competition. Also they may want to make sure they have more advertisement so they can sell more, though they've had several years for that already lol. I'm not really sure but just what I think. We've waited 8 years, what's a few more more months?

the fact that according to people with the I.Q. 4000 years ago said were going to die in a week i would like to play the game that my childhood was based of off and also the fact that every time they pushed back the release date that my friend and i joked about going and killling them all so we could play the game..... can you say obsession :)lol

So far we've all been commenting on one blog post, the Sly Blog, on the Sly Blog page, and I was thinking about adding a new post to the Sly Blog page called Sly Cooper Thieves in Time. The Sly Cooper Thieves in Time blog post would be for Sly 4 discussion while this one would remain for genral discussion. LOL! You should try ordering the Sly Collection online, trust me it's worth it. Playing all 3 games in HD is amazing, and it is the best way to get re-familiarized with the Sly Cooper series to be ready for Sly 4. Playing the Sly Collection was what got me back into the series after so many years, and inspired me to make this website. So trust me, it's worth it.

So far Tennessee kid cooper, salim al kupar, rioichi cooper, sir galleth and i think mac cooper is confirmed.Because on the sushi house start up it showed all the episodes and mac cooper related to 1 of the episodes.

This is a guess but i think clockwerk will be in the game but i am just guessing here if you watch the costume trailer then at the end of it sly, Sir galleth, murray and carmalita are running and suddenly stop well i believe that clockwerk is in front of them. Also clockwerk has been seen in the feudal japan hub and he might be in all of them but i think he will appear at the end of the mideavel endland story.

Sanzaru did a great job with Thieves in Time. I just could not get my hands of it! it was fantastic. Rioichi was really like a ninja, and they managed to do it like the traditional Sly games

Hey guys four days ago was the second year anniversary of this website! As you have probably noticed the site has been slow lately and I haven't released any new content or commented on the blog in a while. I have been so inactive on my own website that I even forgot about its anniversary until now. Seeing as I am so busy with highschool and my work I have decided that I need to recruit somebody to help out with the site. If anybody is interested in working on this website, just send me an email. I am looking for someone who can add interesting content and update the news page when anything is leaked or discovered in the Sly Cooper world. Email me at [email protected] and we can work out the specifics then. Age is no issue as I started working on websites when I was 12, but I would prefer anybody who's interested to have some experience or be fairly knowledgeable about computers, and to be passionate about Sly Cooper and loyal to site. Aside from that matter however, I will hopefully find the time on my own to start working on the website so stay tuned for more updates. Thanks everyone!

Hi Sly Cooper fans! I have been Sly Cooper fan of the whole time of my childhood and still.
