So you've probably all noticed that the site looks a lot different now and a lot has been changing, so here's a post addressing all those updates and what to expect in the future. This includes a look at the design and a ton of new content I've added recently, along with where I see the site going and evolving in the future and what other content such as downloads and information that I hope to be adding. I completely renovated the website's design so make it look more clean, modern and professional. More importantly, the website now has a separate mobile theme so it should work and look a lot better on a smartphone or tablet. I fixed the structure on most main pages to be better compatible on mobile devices as well, but I have quite a bit of more work there. News Page Changes The News page has also been significantly modernized as you can now leave comments, like articles using Facebook, and even Tweet the article (all of which we highly encourage you to do! Please! Spread the word!). The Chat page (formerly called "Sly Blog") has been dying recently, so the News page may end up replacing it since you can now reply to articles and start conversations in the comments. I also plan on posting more conspiracy theories and thoughts on Sly Cooper in general to the News page rather than just hard news and site updates. Changelog Since I make so many changes to the site, I can't write a full news article on ever minor update, so at the bottom of the website in the footer section (next to About & History | Contact | Disclaimer | Partners) there is now a new page called "Changelog" which will keep detailed notes on everything new on the website. So if you don't want to miss out on the newest content and more minor updates, that's the place to check. Downloads I updated the Downloads page to have preview pictures for most of the downloads that didn't used to have previews, so now you know what you're getting. I also recently ripped my copy of the Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus E3 2002 Demo Disk and added that to the Downloads page so you can play it with a PS2 emulator on your computer, like PCSX. I also added some 3D character models (more of these to come) , one from the Sly 1 E3 Demo (ripped by someone else, fixed and re-assembled by me), and one (with cane) from Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Merchandise I added the new PlayStation Gear Sly Cooper plush to the merchandise page, and added a bunch of old rare merchandise to the list as well (Sly Cooper backpack from the Sly 1 Thief Kit, Sly 1 press kit, mugs, Cole's Hero Edition backpack with the Sly Cooper logo, etc.) Game Pages I'm in the process of updating the pages for each Sly game. The Sly 5 page is a lot better now and has a ton of more information about the potential game. Photos Page Added a ton of new photo galleries. You can find the access Photos via the Media page. Other Random Changes I merged the Soundtracks page to be under Media along with Photos and Videos. I added a Sly 3 photo gallery, a box art gallery, and a Concept Art gallery to the photos page. I merged the Fan Fiction, Fan Art and Podcasts page under one "Fan Content" page. I removed the Vault page and spread its content onto other pages. The Characters page wasn't really important, so I axed it. Changes Coming in the Future I've been working hard, but there is still a ton to be done. Firstly, I want to add photos and videos galleries for each Sly Cooper game, and add/update the Soundtracks page heavily. I am in the process of hunting down some more cool downloads (been trying to find that Sly Cooper Desktop Thievius Raccoonus computer game for years now. If you have a copy of that program, PLEASE let me know). I want to heavily updated the pages for each Sly Cooper game. Right now they only have summaries of the plot, but I want to added more useful information like Easter eggs, cheats, hints, tips, fun facts, hacks, etc. Of course I will be providing coverage of E3 2017 in the hopes that information regarding the Sly Cooper Movie or Sly 5 is announced. I will probably be hacking some videos games, whether it be hacking the Sly Cooper games themselves or hacking something like Super Mario Bros. and replacing Mario with Sly.
